One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism

Ephesians 4:5

 

Our belief of Jesus, that He:

• Is God, manifest in the flesh. (I Timothy 3:15-16, Isaiah 9:6, Titus 2:13, 2 Peter 1:1; St. John 1:1,14)
• Was born of the virgin, Mary. (Matthew 1:23, Isaiah 7:14)
• Hung and died on the cross for our sins. (Matthew 27: 34 – 37, St. John 19:18, Isaiah 53:3-5, I Peter 3:18)
• On the 3rd day, rose from the dead. (I Corinthians 15:4, St. Luke 24:46)

 

Our belief of salvation:

Acts 2:38 KJV, “Repent (be Godly sorry & turn away from your former life), and be baptized (submerging in the water) every one of you in the name Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (the in-dwelling spirit).”

 

Our belief of the body of Christ, that we must:

• Live holy (Romans 12:1, I Timothy 4:12, I Corinthians 6:19, Psalm 51:9-10 KJV)
• Love all mankind (St. John 13:34, 15:12 KJV)
